Hello, my name is Peter Kupfer. I am a physics teacher at Harvard High School.
I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2002. I received a B.S. physics with an emphasis in secondary eeducation. On this page I hope to give you a lot of information about myself and about my life.
Before coming to college I lived in Grayslake, Il. I attended Grayslake Community High School for 4 fun filled years and graduated from there in May of '98. I made lots of friends there, and you can find there pictures scattered through out this site. I didn't do much in Grayslake yet, but we'll see what happens down the road, I was voted most likely to teach at GCHS so who knows if that will happen.
At college, my main extra-curricular activity was debate. We traveled to other colleges a few times a month and debated the year's resolution. Also at school I worked at the front desk of Neptune and was a Community Advisor (really it is the same as an RA).
For many summers I worked at a Boy Scout Camp, Camp Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan. It's a fantastic place to be and I really enjoy it there. I have found many friends and myself in Wisconsin's Northwoods. I have also spent several years involved with the Boy Scouts. I am an Eagle Scout and would love to hear from other scouters about their experiences or answer any questions that people might have about scouting.
In August of 2004 I married my long time girlfriend. We are enjoying married life along with our cat, Belle. I would like to thank the following people for helping me with my site. If you have any thoughts or comments, please feel free to e-mail me at peschtra@yahoo.com.
