- I would like to thank http://www.grsites.com for many of the
graphics on the site. They provide a lot of great free graphics for web
sites.
- I used to edit my site using MPS HTMLGATE Free. This is
a great, free program that edits very nicely, like a text editor, but
it colors your tags and things like that. It also has a built in W3C
Validator. It has some flaws to it, but it gets the job done. I don't
beleive you can download it any more, but it was good program. That
company makes a nice, free, PHP
editor.
- I now edit my site is PSPad.
This is a program similar to HTMLGate in that has a nice coloring
scheme and it also has an HTML tidy editor included. The other nice
things about this program is that it has an HTML to XHTML converter
than I used while upgraded my site. I can't even imagine how much time
this must have saved me. There is no WYSIWYG editor in PSPad that I can
see, but I am okay with that. For a free program it seems riduously
powerful and yet simple.

Free Find is a fantastic free
service that creates a site map for your website. I was going to make
one myself, but then I found this gem of a site and it seemed stupid
to do it myself when this site will spider mine and output a pretty
site map. They also will create search boxes to perfoem site searches
(which is something I don't use since I can get money using Google
search) and can create a What's New link which lists the
most recent changes to your site. I have included the examples:
